Bakar
Not a client project. A concept built to answer the question every small food business asks: what would a site for us actually look like?

Bakar is not a real business. It was designed and built to show what a small food business site can look like when it is not assembled from a template, and it is open so you can read the actual page rather than judge a picture of one.
The whole page is one idea: the bakery's own rhythm. It opens when the bread is ready and closes when the bread is gone, so the site leads with that rather than with a hero slogan, and the menu is set as a printed menu would be, with leaders and aligned prices, rather than as a grid of cards.
The photography was generated for this concept, which is possible precisely because there is no client and no licence to clear. The layout, type and code are the same ones a paying project would get.
